The Speedy Sharp Carbide Sharpener is comprised of a piece
of Micro 100 Super carbide bonded to a 4 x 0.25 x 0.5-inch piece of steel.
The small size and the extreme toughness of the carbide tip make this an
extremely versatile little sharpener.
The steel shank of the Speedy Sharp is sheathed in soft
durable plastic, available in a variety of colors, and a plastic cap is
included to protect objects, such as a bag or pants pocket, from the sharp
edges of the sharpener.
